Carrie brings seven years of agency and contract experience to VVK, with a focus on media relations, brand positioning and creative strategy for nonprofits and cultural organizations.
For four years, they served as the director of a Detroit- and NYC-based PR agency. There, Carrie built, led and mentored a team of PR specialists and directed campaigns for an influential roster of nonprofits, artists, startups and cultural institutions—including Americans for the Arts, Allied Media Projects, Art for Justice Fund, Knight Foundation, Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Newlab Detroit and New England Foundation for the Arts, to name a few. Carrie is passionate about helping organizations tell their stories across diverse media. Their work has included producing podcasts, executing large-scale events, project-managing short documentaries, creative directing annual reports and executing editorial campaigns that move people to action.
Outside of VVK, Carrie maintains a ceramics practice and enjoys knitting and reading.
