From scholarships that invest in the next generation of communicators to giving-back initiatives close to our hearts, this is where that commitment lives.

Izzy Inspires + VVK Gives Back

After a courageous 7-year battle with brain cancer, this world lost Izzy Sherman. Izzy, the daughter of our beloved co-workers and friends Mike and Alana Sherman, was truly remarkable. She defied the odds twice, living life with unparalleled courage and spreading joy wherever she went. To honor her legacy, VVK PR + Creative has named our giving-back initiative “Izzy Inspires + VVK Gives Back.” We are dedicated to impacting our communities, particularly in Detroit, by supporting organizations that align with our values and passion for making a difference. Join us as we continue to spread love and joy in Izzy’s name. VVK has proudly supported organizations such as Detroit Public Theatre, Michigan Humane, Autism Alliance of Michigan, and InsideOut Literary Arts, among others.

VVK PR + Creative Student Scholarship

The VVK PR + Creative Student Scholarship is in partnership with Wayne State University’s Department of Communications. This needs-based scholarship is designed to support students pursuing studies in video production, graphic design, digital design, and public relations. Located in the vibrant heart of Midtown Detroit, Wayne State University shares our commitment to fostering opportunities for passionate individuals. At VVK, we believe in empowering the next generation of creative minds and providing them with the tools they need to succeed.

The 2026 VVK PR + Creative Student Scholarship recipient, Giuliana Vico, shared a note with us that perfectly captured why programs like this matter:
