Jaymi started her career in integrated marketing and communications at a boutique PR agency shortly after graduating from Wayne State University with her bachelor’s degree in public relations in 2020. Here, she quickly became well versed in media pitching, coverage reporting, organic social media development, lite graphic design, event management and more.

Prior to joining VVK PR + Creative as Operations and Administration Manager, she was an account supervisor at Stratacomm, a mid-sized integrated communications agency, where she focused on developing marketing campaigns for Agencies within the federal government and automotive suppliers. Her nearly five years with this agency allowed her to deepen her skills in different operational areas including account management, client leadership and project management.

Jaymi has most recently served as annual meeting committee chair for the Public Relations Society of America’s Detroit Chapter. She has also formerly served as program facilitator for the Wayne State University Public Relations Mentorship Program, which is designed to create long-lasting relationships between Wayne State students and local professionals, since 2019.
