A Detroit native, Lauren's inquisitive nature has been the catalyst for her career in journalism, communications and community engagement. Upon graduating from the University of Michigan-Flint, Lauren pursued a career in broadcast journalism, covering topics ranging from politics to health and community-interest pieces.

Lauren brings nearly a decade of experience in communications and public relations to VVK, including media relations, project management, content and video development, website management and brand messaging. Driven by a deep commitment to advocacy and the pursuit of fair and equitable treatment of all people, her recent work includes leading communications and community engagement efforts in Detroit's mobility and environmental sustainability space, including collaborating with stakeholders to implement clean transportation options near affordable housing communities in Detroit neighborhoods.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys traveling, exploring diverse perspectives through novels, spending time with friends and exercising.

In her role as senior account executive, Lauren looks forward to employing thoughtful and creative strategies to support brand awareness, reputation and engagement for clients, and to building authentic relationships with stakeholders.
